🏟️ About Us: A Legacy of Passion and Progress
Founded in 1978 by visionary Alfie Cooney, our club has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant force in Irish football. As a founding member of the West Cork League, we proudly helped shape grassroots competition in the region.
From early triumphs in the Kerry District League, including wins in the Youth Cup and League, to representing Kerry in the Munster Cup, our ambition has always matched our talent. Joining the Cork AUL, we clinched our first major silverware—the Corinthians Cup—in 2007, earning promotion to Premier A. A landmark moment came in 2022 with victory in the St Michael’s Cup, affirming our continued excellence in AUL Division 1.
âš˝ Our commitment to inclusivity and development has always been strong. In 2007, our Ladies Team captured both the Cup and League, and our Under-17 Boys claimed the Cup in 2004. Fast forward to 2025, our Under-12 and Under-14 squads are proudly celebrating their titles as Division 7 and 8 League Champions.
💚 True to our values, in 2024, we launched the Football For All initiative, creating a welcoming space for primary school-aged children to experience the game—proving that football is for everyone.
With decades of achievement behind us and a future full of promise, we remain dedicated to community, development, and the beautiful game.
